The final week of November has arrived, and with that comes the holiday season. For

Thanksgiving, I sat down with several students to find out what they are thankful for this holiday season.

Krischan Taylor, a theatre major, said he’s thankful for “my family, friends, and the program I get to be a part of.”

Dee Slade, also a theatre major, had similar thanks to give, stating he’s thankful for the theatre

department.

Cole Johnson, a communications major, said he’s thankful for “a roof over my head, a decent

job, and my friends.”

Aleks Chickonoski and Maya Dragt, both theatre majors, said they’re thankful for their family.

AJ Conlon, a theatre production major, said she’s thankful for “really good friends that accept

me for who I am.”

With a recently extended Thanksgiving break, the break for the holiday is now lasting all week, giving students more time to spend with their friends and family.

Many students were excited and relieved for the time.

“It’s great, especially for travel or just time to relax,” Cade Loftis, a communications major,

said.

Sunny Cathcart, a communications major had a similar sentiment, stating they’re “so relieved. It gives me an opportunity to finish final assignments then focus on studying for finals week.”

Let us know what you’re thankful for this year or how you feel about the break extension.
